Theo Doro Fairyland
Dorota Zglobicka (founder and creator of Theo Doro Fairyland) is a Polish fashion designer who studied at the Multimedia Department of the Academy of Fine Art in Athens, Greece and in Gdansk, Poland where she received her Master of Fine Arts degree. Also being a filmmaker, Zglobicka has created videos for her fashion shows as well as other film forms.
Recently, enchanted by the natural beauty of the American Southwest, she has moved from Europe to Tucson, Arizona, where the Theo Doro Atelier is now headquartered. Dorota says, “I’ve created my fashion atelier on the most beautiful ranch in Vail, with Saguaros and a lot of trees.”
Theo Doro Fairyland combines modern design with vintage look. The collections; inspired by fairy tales, films, and history of fashion, are girly, cute, and very feminine. Theo Doro creates couture gowns and pret-a-porte, as well as sensual, unique wedding dresses for the bride who is looking for an alternative to the conventional white hues. Menswear and children line are soon to follow.
