2015 Runway Location Unveiled!

SAN DIEGO, March 15, 2015—At this weekend’s Spring Showcase, held at Harrah’s Southern California Resort, Fashion Week San Diego (FWSD) announced it will be hosting its signature Fall Runway Shows in La Jolla, Calif. on Sept. 28 through Oct. 4, 2015. With a series of week-long events, the Fall Runway Shows will held in on outdoor venue on Wall St., between Girard Ave. and Hershel Ave., in the heart of La Jolla’s downtown district, and will feature 25 emerging womenswear, menswear, resort, kids and accessory designers.


A major component of FWSD’s annual events lineup, the Fall Runway Shows have become an integral part of the San Diego community, helping grow the dynamic retail industry and serve as a springboard for up-and-coming designers, all while showcasing newest styles and cutting-edge fashion trends. In 2014, nearly 20,000 guests attended the runway shows, held at San Diego’s Broadway Pier.


This year, FWSD is raising the bar by partnering with the La Jolla Merchants Association and local businesses to bring the famed Fall Runway Shows to La Jolla for the very first time. The week’s schedule, also announced at the Spring Showcase, will be as follows:


FWSD 2015 Fall Runway Shows Schedule


  • Monday, Sept. 28 through Wednesday, Sept. 30 – Invite only events
  • Thursday, Oct. 1, starting at 6:00 p.m. – Art & Beauty Behind Fashion Runway Show presented by Bellus Academy over the pool at the La Valencia Hotel; all pass holders admitted
  • Friday, Oct. 2, starting at 6:00 p.m. – Designer Runway Shows on Wall St. in the heart of La Jolla; all pass holders admitted
  • Saturday, Oct. 3, starting at 6:00 p.m. – Designer Runway Shows on Wall St. in the heart of La Jolla; all pass holders admitted
  • Sunday, Oct. 4, 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. – Designer Trunk Show & Fashion Awards at the La Valencia Hotel; all pass holders admitted


“2015 is a particularly exciting year for Fashion Week San Diego,” said Allison Andrews, founder and director of FWSD. “Not only do we have 25 amazing designers this year, but we are moving our signature fall event to one of the best and most premier locations in Southern California. The following 25 designers will be making their debut on the La Jolla runway this year: A’Doreus, Alber Rezko Jewelry Designs, Alexandra Marie, B.JASH.I, Beachy Chic Couture, Bearly Proper, Black Filigree Couture, Candy Bee Swimwear, Carou Belle, Charmaine Joie Couture, Charlie Yip, Dynamite Doll, GFASH, Graciela Llorente, Jessica Faulkner, Lady Lane, NaPóstol, Nikki Marie, Nolan Dean, Responsive Textiles, Sasha Bravo, Quynn Tessential Couture, Saturne Collection, Scott Rich, TaSanni, Territa Torres. In addition to the runway shows held in downtown La Jolla, the Oct. 4 trunk show and award ceremony will take place at the La Valencia Hotel, providing attendees with an opportunity to shop the runway and get to know the designers up close.


VIP and General Admission pre-sale passes for the week-long event go on sale Monday, March 16, with pre-sale VIP passes valued at $175 and general admission at $75. Following the pre-sale, passes will start at $100 for general admission and $200 for VIP passes. Additionally, for the first time guests will have an option to purchase Front Row VIP passes at $350, which will guarantee front row seating.
