Quynn became interested in fashion at a young age, when she started making clothing for her teddy bears and dolls using bits of scrap fabrics. She was born in South Vietnam where money was scarce, so her parents could only afford to have one child. She and her family later immigrated to the USA in 1991 yet continued to struggle financially. Her parents, however, always made sure there was food on the table and it was their hard-working spirit that taught her to never give up on anything. In high school, she created her own dress for prom as a class project. Allured by the intricacies of costuming, she began to create unique, one-of-a-kind costumes to fund her studies at Cal Poly Pomona.
From then, Quynn was determined to turn her passion into a career. She got her foot into the fashion industry as a production assistant and moved on to be a development and production coordinator. She craved a more creative environment, and so decided to leave her job to pursue her life-long dream: to transform all the wondrous beauty of this world into everyday fashion. She spent a year travelling throughout Europe and Asia and has not looked back once. Her collection is already internationally recognized in Washington D.C., San Diego, Vancouver and Manchester.
Quynn envisions her line as very graceful, feminine, and classy. She embraces vintage elegance with a timeless European romance. She visualises the body as a canvas wanting to be touch with all types of colors and textures. Her collection features hand-selected fabric imported from Europe that are only available in limited quantity, therefore each piece is uniquely made with love. In her spare time, she gives back to the community by donating proceeds to charity and volunteering with local animal rescue groups, rescuing and fostering orphaned kittens.
