Mission:
“Fashion Week San DiegoTM is a collaborative entertainment fashion event to celebrate the people of San Diego in fashion by showcasing and highlighting the pulse of these entrepreneurs and what they are creating.”
About Fashion Week San Diego:
Fashion Week San DiegoTM was founded in 2008 by Allison Andrews with the idea of creating a fashion industry event to aid the developing fashion culture in San Diego. The first Fashion Week San DiegoTM took place in October of 2008 at different venues around Downtown San Diego. The event went on hiatus for three years to recoup after the economic recession. Those three years gave us time to be missed, rest, and re-group! Now in 2012 the event is coming back even stronger!
While San Diego is not New York or Paris, nor even Los Angeles, there is still a thriving fashion culture. Fashion Week San DiegoTM was formed to showcase creative geniuses and their works with the goal of becoming a launching pad for their careers. Highlighting the fashion culture and community of San Diego is a key goal of Fashion Week San DiegoTM.
Fashion Week San DiegoTM is presented by APA Business Consulting, Inc.
The event will be open to both industry professionals and the public. For sponsor, media and participant opportunities, as well as tickets, email info@fashionweeksd.com.
