Fashion Week San Diego hit the runway with a live broadcast Runway Show on Oct. 17. This virtual fashion show featured nine designers who presented their 10-piece collections at the LUCE Lofts on Kettner Boulevard. The founder of FWSD, Allison Andrews, and the director of FWSD Gwen Bates kicked off the festivities and got the show rolling.

The emcee for the evening was meteorologist Jodi Kodesh. The guests were able to watch the show in the comfort of their home sipping a cocktail while seeing these never-before-seen collections on the FWSD2020 runway.

Featured designer Bea Cruz PH, from the Philippines, was unable to attend this year due to travel restrictions. Many of the garments were a blend of pineapple fibers and silk. She had to watch the show virtually for her home in the Philippines.
