Frances Taylor. Hola my name is Yashica Topalovic, designer & creator of FRANCES TAYLOR & this is my lineage.
Frances Taylor, a woman with poise, elegance & mystery, also my grandmother. Her love, image & name filled me with confidence & without a doubt, I decided to name my clothing line after her. Coming from a small town El Centro, Ca & Mexicali, B.C., I was fascinated by her boldness in fashion. I had never seen anything like it before! She inspired me to carry myself like a true lady no matter what, to wear those embroidered pumps, to dress your best even when you’re running errands.
When I was 9 years old my younger sister entered a beauty pageant. Our mother gave me the option to enter as well or go on a shopping spree? Guess what I chose!!! That’s right, still to this day, I’d prefer to explore fabrics & garments over being the next princess. What can I say, by wearing that bold outfit with confidence you have automatically entered a beauty pageant, so it was a win-win situation for me! Yes, I was that young girl reconstructing garments from yard sale piles for my next birthday party. Also, that teenager who designed her own prom dress. Designing or creating has always soared in my hopes & dreams!
And now, I am a fashion designer with intuitive regard for helping women bring out the Goddess in them! I strongly believe that a female is born a masterpiece, therefore it is our duty as fashion designers to enhance her, it is also our duty to bring those stunning fabrics to life!!! Frances Taylor designs are edgy, sexy & all at the same time elegant! From designing, reconstructing garments & styling models for photo shoots such as Miss Greater San Diego USA 2016 Marissa Weiler, we also handpick the latest & distinctive trends.
