Valleau Apparel was founded in February 2013 by Katie Valleau. As a former NCAA gymnast she decided there was a market for quality active wear that was as unique as the person wearing it. She has drawn inspiration from her athletic up-bringing as well as her love of fashion. As a self-taught designer, she focuses on intricate designs, performance and comfort. Valleau Apparel was launched on Kickstarter by raising nearly 3 times her initial funding goal. Since then, the company has ventured into the international market with accounts in Singapore, Dubai, Australia, Finland and many other countries. Pieces from past collections have been seen on Cheryl Burke (Dancing with the Stars 2 time champion), Mikaela Mayer (2014 USA National Boxing Champion and 2016 Olympic hopeful) and other notable athletes. 

Valleau Apparel has always drawn from its roots in San Diego and hopes to open a store here someday.
