What a year, right?! With all the uncertainty the world is facing right now, FWSD is feeling especially appreciative of those working tirelessly to ensure the safety of others during this pandemic. Thank you to everyone in the healthcare field, to all of the grocery store workers, to the truck drivers… you are all heroes.
FWSD has also noticed another group of heroes right within our very own network. Many of our past and current Fashion Designers have devoted their entire quarantine time to making masks for healthcare workers and the general public. FWSD2020 Designer Melisa of L Label Loves Emvee Bikini has donated dozens of masks to healthcare workers and told us, ” I will be making more maks until I run out of fabric or until my fingers fall off.” If that isn’t a hero, we don’t know what is. She isn’t alone either. There are dozens of FWSD Designers and team members who are making masks to help stop the spread of Coronavirus.
